The audit and monitoring activities of the National Audit Office are based on the audit plan. The plan is based on the National Audit Office’s own operating environment analyses and macroeconomic risk analyses of central government finances.
The audit plan for 2019–2023 includes information on audits to be published in 2019. It also includes the National Audit Office’s performance targets for 2019, as well as resource calculations and a plan on the allocation of resources during the operational and financial period 2019–2023. It is also the operational and financial plan as laid down in budget legislation.
